Good news for Vijayawada residents. A flight service from Vijayawada to Dubai will soon be available. There will be no need to travel to Hyderabad to go to Dubai, as steps are being taken to launch a flight service directly from Vijayawada to Dubai. Arab Emirates Airlines is currently reviewing the possibility of a Vijayawada-Dubai flight service. Recently, officials from Arab Emirates Airlines visited the Vijayawada International Airport and held discussions with the airport director, Lakshmikanthareddy. Additionally, the team from Arab Emirates is conducting a survey on the number of passengers traveling from Vijayawada to Dubai and the traffic at the airport.
Meanwhile, the Emirates officials also inspected the interior terminal building at Vijayawada airport, as well as the old terminal. They also reviewed the construction work of the new integrated terminal building, which is expected to be completed in the next six months. It is reported that Emirates representatives gathered details about this as well. However, no official announcement has been made yet regarding the launch of the Vijayawada-Dubai flight service. Clarity on this matter is expected after the completion of the survey conducted by the Emirates team.
