RTI reveals details of *Pushpa 2* earnings and taxes.

Pushpa 2 has achieved massive box office earnings, and the tax details related to the film have now been revealed. According to information obtained through the Right to Information (RTI) Act by CPM leader C. Shobhan, the Commercial Taxes Department has disclosed details about the Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings for Pushpa 2. The film's production team submitted monthly GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 returns to the Commercial Taxes Department. These returns include not only the film's revenue but also details of other business transactions, as confirmed by the authorities.

As per the authorities, the total tax payments for November and December 2024 amounted to approximately ₹110 crore, with a turnover of ₹642 crore. The total earnings include revenue from satellite rights, OTT streaming rights, and foreign audio rights sales, the Commercial Taxes Department clarified. Films like Pushpa 2, which generate huge collections, also have a significant impact on tax revenue.
